Senior Biomedical Researcher
Dr. Brokaw received her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland College Park in 2008. She completed her M.S. ’09 and PhD ‘12 research at the Catholic University of America and the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington DC. She then completed a year of postdoctoral research at the University of Pittsburgh in the Rehabilitation Science and Technology department. Her research has focused on technology to improve neurorehabilitation outcomes including developing control methodologies for rehabilitation robotics, upper extremity orthosis design, and home rehabilitation games.
Dr. Brokaw is a senior biomedical engineering researcher at Great Lakes NeuroTechnologies where she is working to develop and commercialize clinically motivated technologies to improve the lives of individuals with neurological conditions.
