What is biomedical engineering, why does it interest you, and why is it important to the Cleveland area?

The GLNT Biomedical Engineering Education Scholarship is established to support high school seniors who plan on attending a four-year college or university in pursuit of a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Two non-renewable scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each will be awarded. The judging committee will be comprised of biomedical engineers and determine up to two scholarship winners based on a written essay and a reference letter.

Eligibility

 

  • Applicants must currently reside and be a senior in a Northeast Ohio high school
  • Applicant must intend to study Biomedical Engineering at a four-year college or university in Fall of 2013
  • Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale)
